Also, are you taking medication? I would like a transplant but have been advised that I would need to take propecia or equivalent for the rest of my life and it has been shown to cause impotence and lowered libido etc. I wouldnt want to end up in a position where my hair looked good for a while and then it started thinning in other areas. Did you experience shock loss or any other issues?
Thanks.

Thank you mate. I think my pre ops are pretty decieving as I grew the hair long in a way to hide the loss. The Doc Said I was performing one of the best cover ups he had ever witnessed As for greater hairloss, as long as the hair is transplanted at the correct density and the patient has the donor supply to facilitate it there is no reason it should look any worse at all. Speak to Spex maybe though as I am not a pro.
I think it's essential to be on meds to avoid any future loss. A few years ago I went on 1MG of Finestride per day and have suffered no side effects at all. None whatsoever. Since then I take my one pill each morning and I don't think I have lost a single hair since. If it continues to hold out like it has I will never need any more work (Fingers crossed). I am not sure on shock loss as I wasn't sure how much I had as I wore it long. Here is a step by step account in pictures of my pre ops, 2 wekks, 1 month, 2 month, 3 month etc. etc.
