Hello bill283,
I think what you a referring to is a cream that helps diminishes the appearance of a scar by helping make its color fade. That is not needed in this case because the color of my scar is not drastically different from my natural skin tone and also the scar will by very well hidden by hair growth. The cream you are referring too I believe is used more to help diminishes the appearance of scars in plain view such as abdominoplasty scars or a scar from an injury.

Hello Raphael84,
Yes I have been posting my results on a regular basis since my first HT in July of 2011. To view these posts, I suggest simply doing a name search "Hairgoesnothing" or you can also view my timeline blogs here on the HTN.
I am not very technologicaly inclined so I am sory that I do not know how to include a link to my blog direcly.
You should have no problems finding my various posts though here on the HTN.

Good to hear from you. Just for the record, I had 8557 grafts all together :-)
I made a mistake at the start of this post. This second HT was 2953 grafts, not 2970. Just wanted to clear that up. Either way, your right, it is a great looking scar. If one can ever say that about a scar!

If it bothers one day, Its very easy to solve, You can use some beard grafts under you chin to cover the scar with. You may need around 600 grafts only. Since you are from North America then check out Dr. Umar.

By looking how his last scar turned out, I would say he would need something as little as 200 grafts! His last scar was almost undetectable even when it was buzzed to a 0 or 1 guard just prior to his 2nd surgery! I thought I was looking at a virgin scalp!

HARIRI your right about the quality of Dr Umar's work. He does what he does well.

But truth be told in this instance, Dr Rahal did such a wonderful job with this second donor scar (and my first) that I have not even considered ever having (or ever needing) any revision work done to it. There are doctors out there that can equal this work but none can surpass it. It just does not get any better than this. I could not be happier with the quality of his work.
