Default POST-OP Anomaly

I recently carried out HT on 18th December 2012 This is my 4th week Post-op and im not observing any considerable Hair Loss i was being advised by my doctor after removal of stitches on 11th day that you can rub your hair anytime you want in order to make them fall ... should i go with my doctor advice?? i rub my hair(gently)only when i shampoo them

Yep - you are absolutely fine now to wash in the shower as normal. Do not worry you can not harm the HT now - All you are seeing are superficial hair shafts. The FU is embedded safely in your scalp now, under the surface.

I dont think there is a problem gently rubbing your head out of the shower, that shower just loosens things up.

You grafts are n there not and you can rub your head, just dont get ridiculous.

Do you have any lingering crusts after 4 weeks?

If so, they can be removed at this point in time wet or dry. Crusts come off easier if they are wet in my own experience.
