Hi Fighting,
Did the doctor recommend using minoxidil on the scalp 14 days post-operatively, or is this something you were considering? Between days 7-10, the grafts should be fully anchored and rubbing a solution on your scalp shouldn't disrupt any new growth. However, this is definitely something I would check with your clinic first. It is always best to follow their post-operative instructions exactly, because if the procedure doesn't mature as planned, you can be assured that you followed the instructions perfectly and figure out a plan from there. Also, I'm not certain you would need to use any sort of salve on your donor region post-operatively with FUE. Is this an antimicrobal-type cream? Again, this is something you should definitely check with your clinic, but if the doctor didn't specify to use it, you are probably okay. I can't necessarily think of any sort of real advantage with regard to infection or improved scar healing in this instance.

Again, I would confirm all of this with your physician too. It's always a good idea to follow their post-op instructions exactly as stated!
Good luck!
