Dr. Wesley is becoming very active these days. I'm impressed with his repairs already. How about a scarless FUE? Whats special in it to make it scarless? Really curious!
Here are some info on his website but still didn't get the clear picture http://www.drcarloswesley.com/scarless_surgery.html

When he is ready he will come forward with the information. Remember, he may find that the method--which is so new--may not be viable or may only partially be viable (or may be fully viable!). THat is what R&D is all about.

Thanks for your continued interest (a patience!). I can tell you that things have continued to progress very well on the development front. After a conference call with our team of engineers earlier today, it appears that we are on target for a follow-up clinical trial using the completed instrument by February of 2013.
In addition, I have been gathering data from our initial trial (using a more basic iteration of the instrument) that was initiated late last year. I plan to have some comparative growth analysis between: 1) this new method, 2) traditional FUE, 3) and strip harvest grafts by December of this year.

Hi Guys,
Wanted to bump this thread to share some information: I had the opportunity to Skype with Dr. Wesley yesterday and discuss the new procedure, and I'm very impressed! It's a highly innovative approach, and I'm eager to watch it progress. However, like Dr. Wesley previously stated, the procedure is still undergoing some final review and patenting, so he can't share the full details at this point in time. Having said that, as soon as all the technical work is completed, Dr. Wesley will gladly share the details and move forward with the new technique!

very curious but also skeptical about this. there will always be tge missing follicle effect unless donor regeneration is progressed to a successful level which i do not believe it has. dr gho is onto the right track but his results and cost are out of alignment considering the mediocre yield. i also believe he may be exagerating his estimates on how much donor actually regenerates. i don't mean to be pessimistic but it's hard to envision a genuine scarless technique in that the skin appears untouched post op. but i could be very wrong.

I was told by many hair transplant experts and surgeons that ever surgery left scars whether FUT or FUE. I find it very hard to believe that there will be a FUE surgery without any scar? I just dont understand how will it be. It is already March and we still didnt hear any updates. I remember Dr. Wesely mentioned that he is on target for a follow-up clinical trial using the completed instrument by February of 2013.
I hope the scareless FUE will be available before 2015 as I am planning to go FUE for my crown :-)
