raul, Milena does not use any blue or green in her pigments, therefore the work will not turn color, just fade and eventually disappear completely.
I had the chance to see this result up close and personal (I viewed it with Dr. Feller's magnifiers) and it looks 100% like real stubble.

SRK,
Thanks for sharing your experience with SMP and for providing some photos. I see that you are undergoing multiple "sessions" of SMP...I assume this is to obtain the illusion of density you want? How many sessions will you be undergoing in total? What will the total cost be for all sessions? Since this is temporary SMP, rather than permanent, are you planning to keep up with regular procedures every 2 years or so? Given the costs may exceed 2K Euros or 3K American dollars (which I can't ascertain from the above as to whether or not that's per session or total), I assume that an SMP consumer would have to pay 3K plus every 2 years? If that's the case, it seems that the price tag for SMP in the long run will be much higher than even surgical hair restoration. I also have a question about fading, which is open to anyone to answer. Since tattooing from temporary tattoing will eventually disappear, I assume it will fade gradually over time? If so, how long does the fading process take and will it still look natural as it begins to fade? I look forward to learning more. Best wishes, Bill

Bill, You bring up some valid points,i have currently gone through 2 sessions, would probably need another session to get it looking like how I want it to look. I believe the 3K US dollars would be for the start to finish price for the one procedure depending how many sessions it would take to get the look. Paying 3K every 2 years is a bit much to be honest, however my hope is that Milena Lardi from Beauty Medical will come up with some sort of permanent solution in the next couple of years, also hoping there is more stories of success from permanent SMP clients. |

It is a bit steep. It comes down to saving around $125 per month for two years. Then again, I paid close to $90 per month for propecia for many years, so I guess where there's a will, there's a way.

Temporary SMP can fade as early as 1 year. 3 K per year over say a 30 year period...90K! A high quality rug might cost the same over an equivalent period...an NW6 HT strip 2 procedures maybe 30K over a 2 year period and done...FUE 6 K grafts maybe 45-60K....
Bottom line is the market will support temporary SMP at a REASONABLE price. People want 2 things: safe ink; and the option to go back to normal if they don't like it. Come on Docs....be reasonable. If you offer this, bottom line is a tech or specialist is doing the inking...materials cost should be reasonable...lets keep it real here. strip scars should be in the hundreds range and full head in the very LOW thousand at most. I would love to see the economic justification for anything further than this. |

Guys, how did this become a $3k/year procedure suddenly? I will do my best to get some accurate pricing info on this, but I can tell you right now that figure is overblown....
