Question for board regarding my scar

Thanks in advance for any help with my concerns.
I am just 2 months out of my second HT surgery of 2,700 grafts. I had no issues with my first scar and it looked pretty good.The doc decided it was best to go higher up this time to take out the strip because he thought the first was taken too low by the other doc. The two scars meet and connect behind the each ear. Everything looks alright in the back and on the right side, except for a section behind my left ear. I attached a photo taken today and one that was taken right after the staples were taken out at day 12, to see what some board members think is going on.
I had nothing like this happen after my first procedure, except for the persistent redness of the scar for several months, due to my skin being extremely fair. I am also still extremely numb about 2 inches above the scar on that same left side above the ear ( about the size of a baseball). Again, i am worried about these issues, as I did not experience any of this after my first HT.
