Ok so i started fish oil 2 weeks ago from day 1, my hair loss was far worse shed wise why can fish oil cause hair to fall more also i started primrose oil too but this does not effect hair, anyone else notice this with fish oil also cod liver oil does not cause it ,fish oil is the prob

I take two teaspoons of fish oil daily. Haven't noticed it contributing to hair loss. I am on propecia, however, so not sure if that would make a difference. My gut tells me that fish oil is not causing your hair loss.

Fish oil makes igf levels rise the fin would block any dht made by the fish oil , i had hair loss from age 21 to 25 it stopped when i gave up taking fish oil then im 35 now and it seems the fish oil has caused it again, i eat fish twice a day and this does not effect hair only the supplement , i started the fish oil for my eye .

I feel I had a shed when I started fish oils for cholesterol, I went to krill oil.

Not sure if this is for different reasons, but Hasson/Wong told me to stop taking fish oil 1 week before my upcoming procedure in August.

That was probably because fish oil, like aspirin, can thin the blood which is not good if you're going for surgery.

Funny thing is fish oil stopped my mothers hair loss strange how it effects me so much even after i stop it takes a few days to have less hair shed id shed 30 hairs max with no fish oil when i wash hair , and 60 to 90 on fish oil

Fish oil is said to decrease Test/DHT levels. Try Krill oil, it is said to be better, not sure of the reasons though.

Fish oil is meant to lower dht too , evening primrose oil is meant to be best fatty acid for dht the gla in it but i dont see any diff

what about primrose and nettle?
