This patient had 3 previous surgeries completed by two other clinics in the Chicago area, with his last one being done 4 years ago. He was uncomfortable with his results. He was told by the two other physicians, prior to each of his procedures, that he would not need any additional surgeries and that he would have a good head of hair. He was disappointed after each procedure. We had originally met with him 2 years prior to him having his surgery. We explained to him what he needed to have done to achieve his hair restoration goals. He was hesitant about having another procedure but after meeting with him 3 times to answer his questions he finally decided to go forward with another session. One of the things that we did stress to him before the procedure with Dr. Panine was that after his procedure he would be able to style his hair any way he desired without any detection of his old grafts. We indicated that he would have good density, but there would still be a possibility that he could thin out more over the years. These are his results after 2,893 grafts. About 60% of the grafts went into the frontal 1/3 of his scalp to detail the hairline and add density with the other 40% to the crown. These pictures are 8 months post-op and he still has more improvement to come.

Nice work. I'm always impressed by the clean immediate post-op pics. It barely looks like anything was done.

Irishsailor, RCWest, Bucksred, and Aaron,
Dr. Panine really appreciates all of you for taking the time to notice the quality of his work and post a nice comment. Aaron one of things that Dr. Panine strives in doing is to try and make sure that all his patients look extremely clean after their procedure for the reason that it really speeds up their healing time with miniimal scabbing. This allows them to get back to work faster without anyone noticing they had anything done much faster. Thanks again for noticing that point.
