Default dramatic donor shock loss

I seem to have a quite dramatic case of shock loss in the donor area. (I am 2 months post op). This was a second transplant. Since the second transplant, I've also lost a fair amount of hair from the first transplant. When does this typically return?

Youdontsay, that is one of the more severe cases of shockloss I have seen. I see that you are from Australia. Who did your surgery? Shockloss in the donor will grow back unless something was done bad wrong during surgery.

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1?

I'm not in Australia, I am in Chicago (not sure why my profile says otherwise, I will try to fix it.) I used Dr Keller here in Chicago- his reputation seems pretty good, so I'm just hoping this is temporary.

Shock loss is temporary and happens from time to time but the severity differs from patient to patient. It will get better around 3-4 months post op. in the meantime you can use concealed like dermatch if you want to hide it.

Nasty shock loss there, but it should all come back in a few months. Hang tight!

I also had very nasty shock loss in the donor area after my transplant. It started to grow back for me at the start of month three and by month four, you could not notice it at all.
Courage my friend. It will grow back.
All the best

Indeed - I had shockloss that resembled this approx area from an FUE session i had some time ago.

Breathe easy my man - it will all come back

Might i recommend 1 x application of minoxidil to the area to help stimulate growth. My shock took approx 5 months to regrow.
