Default Day 6 post OP - Which day to day shampoo?

Hi All,

I'm day 6 post OP and will be able to shampoo normally from day 10.
Which day to day shampoo do you guys use and why?

Before my HT I used my GF's shampoo (whatever it was at the time) but need to get something that could help with my thinning crown that wasn't addressed by HT as well as helping with both donor area and grafted area.

Finally, I'd be trying Nizoral once or twice a week but I'm unsure how long after HT I can start on this.

Thanks in advance and have a great day,

Bald28

I use head and shoulders, which works well for me With regards to nizoral i started back on it 2 weeks post op, but your best to check with the clinic that carried out your HT.

Best of luck

I used aloe vera shampoo, found it was very gentle and if there is any anecdotal properties from the aloe might as well take it for sake of it!

After the staples were out back to whatever you fancy

each to their own it wont make much difference

I used the cliniderm shampoo for about 6-7 weeks post surgery until it ran out, I only managed to find it online from Canada for about $20-25, but postage was something like $20 per bottle, so I just about J&J's baby shampoo & have continued to use it.
