One year has passed so I thought I would post some before and after showing the progress I had made. Although I am not at the end of the road yet I feel I have come along way.

Wow that year went quick.

I didn't realise you had more native hair pre op then I initially thought.

Have you considered cutting hair to same length as pre op to see the benefits and are you happy with the final outcome?

I agree with Chrisdav. Try to cut you hair shorter as the grafts are a bit spaced and would look better with shorter hair, let say 3 inches long maximum. Try to use some fibre concealer to eliminate the worries. Has Dr. Feriduni offered you any deal for the ingrown grafts???

Hey m8 big improvement!! I also reckon a shorter hair cut would look good!! It will defo increase the look of density!! Your hair is quite a bit longer Then most people have so soon after a ht,and I think although it looks good taking it shorter will make it look really good!!! Having said that,if your happy with that length that's all that matters pal!!! What ever u decide,congrats and keep em growing!!

Thankyou all for your opinions. I completely agree that I should go for a shorter cut and I will do in the next week or two. Ive only been growing it a bIt more recently to see how it looks a bit grown out.

Hariri, I do currently use some concealer at this length to make it look better and the doctor has offered me a deal regarding a small op next year of which the details will be discussed when I see him in December. It has been proposed to have in the region of 400-500 grafts.

Chris, I dont think I will cut it quite as short as pre op but I will certainly go shorter. I imagine I will have to have it all shaved for my next op so it will also be interesting to see the donor area shaved. I did have a fair bit of weaj native hair pre op but these were always at risk and never grew long anyway.

I am pleased with the progress that I have made in comparison to pre op but I am not 100% with it the end result yet since I do need more density. The doctor is not completely satisfied either when when I forwarded him photos two months ago hence his reason for offering me a deal.

I will keep you all posted.

That is generous from Dr. Feriduni. So what would he does to make it grow this time? Has he told you anything regarding that? Is he going to use a larger incisions or something else?

It is generous of Dr Feriduni but as previously stated, exact plans will be discussed in December. In terms of growth the area I am not happy with did not have as much grafts placed in it as I would have liked since the priority was the front. The photo below illustrates my point so the lack of density is not exactly down to just grafts not growing but shockloss as well.

In terms of inicision sizes etc I do not feel this requires addressing at the moment since he is the expert and any questions I have he will answer me in person.

Hairshopeing, I will be in London in December but my appointment is scheduled for the Sunday at 10am. I would have happily met up though!

To be honest, I do not think I would be satisfied with that outcome at all.

You have a great attitude and that will help you on your journey but density is as if you shocked all existing hair. You may have very will lost most of the native front.

Let us know how December goes.
