Who is this person so many people have as their avatar?



First time I saw it I assumed it was the member's own photo, but I see that it's one that can be selected from the gallery.

I've been meaning to ask for months.

i wondered the exact same thing and also why would anyone choose it as their profile pic, nothing against the guy but it's some random dude posing like his life depended on it, so why choose it?!
It's the collars-up that gets me, classic.

...and another thing, the profile pic you're given when you join up by default (that's if you bypass the choice of pics) is some abstract upper body snap of some man with the thickest head of hair nobody on here has!

answer to my questions is: upload your own profile pic, which i will go round to doing.
