Default Fat Stem Cells Induce Hair Growth in Mice According to Researchers at Yale University

The hope and promise of an eventual hair loss cure has been conjectured to be found in stem cell research. Thus, earlier this week, researchers from Yale University were able to demonstrate a real connection between fat derived stem cells (“fatty” or adipose stem cells) and hair follicle stimuulation and new hair growth in mice.

While this truly sounds fascinating, there’s no doubt that the genetic makeup between mice and men (or women) are entirely different. Thus, what hope can hair loss suffering men and women derive from this study?

For more information, read our Hair Loss Q&A Blog article "Fat Stem Cells Induce New Hair Growth in Hair Loss Clinical Research Trials". You are encouraged to add your input to this topic.

Best wishes,

Bill

This is great news. Scientific progress is always slow to become practically viable, but it's good to know that in the future hair loss will most likely be curable. Unfortunately, it's too late for most of us who post here.
