Default Need help Remove Donor Scar -Best Products??

Hi,

2 wks post op fug 1995 grafts to crown and really want to speed up healing process of donor scar...so many products on the net.Any experienced opinions on best one's to use considering it's quite along scar almost ear to ear!! Have come across the following however some are only 15ml tubes and very expensive so would not last long:

Bio Oil,
Vitamin e oil
Mederma
Scar Esthetique
Scanprin
Scasil
Revito
Dermatrix
Rosehip OIl
Strataderm
Alpha Lipoic Acid and Dmae

I am also taking vitb (mega b), androtone (dht suppresser), msm, magnesium, zinc.I am currently using bio and vit e however any better/faster options would be appreciated.

I don't know of anything that will really speed up the healing process. Just be patient and try not to touch it. If it's terribly noticeable you can always conceal it with some dermmatch.

I agree with Aaron. Don't waste your money on those scar products, time will make the difference.

For the scar I used nanogen aquamatch pencil as a concealer. You could still still my smiley for at least a month but it still helped a lot using this concealer. 3.5 months on & I'm still using it lightly. Use nanogen locking mist afterwards to hold it in.
Time is a great healer

Just leave it alone and it will heal, mine was slightly pink in month 2, by month 4 there is hardly anything there, you can't notice it. I haven't been to the gym for 4 months just to it heals quickly & not risk stretching it.
For the time being & as I mentioned before, use nanogen pencil when you go out.
