I know this is an extremely controversial topic to bring up, but even since I was a small child I have wanted to have this procedure done. When I started losing my hair as a teenager, it really made the topic all that much worse.
My head is already huge, I am 6"1', I wear medium to large on everything, but for hats I wear XXL to XXXL. Now imagine how it felt when I had to get my motorcycle helmet fitted ![]() What is your take on these procedures on men who have a decently-defined hairline, and please take into account; medicine is going forward pretty quickly. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.co...59479/3566.jpg Last edited by Ryan Daj; 03-15-2011 at 06:43 PM. |

From that photo your hairline doesn't need lowering and your head isn't huge. You're fine

I want to add to this thread, if I may?
I'm actually considering going in for a consultation about this procedure. I have always had dark, fine hair which has accentuated my rounded forehead and naturally high hairline. All genetically passed down from my father, who has the same features. Do you think I would be a good candidate? Thanks! ![]() ![]()

Courtney,
Welcome! I can't say whether or not you would be a good candidate for a hairline lowering procedure but I highly recommend researching your physicians carefully. While not all of our recommended clinics perform this procedure, those that don't may be able o advise you on who to see in your area. Thus, I suggest contacting one or more of our prescreened hair restoration physicians for more information. Best of luck!

For hairline lowering, I think I have seen Dr. Sheldon Kabaker's name mentioned a few times. He is recommended, you may want to check out what he is offering and ask him what he recommends. Hope that helps.
