Default One procedure of 2525 grafts for Stage 6 balding by Bill Reed, MD

This gentleman with Stage 6 balding received approximately 5684 hairs in 2625 grafts(410 one hair fugs, 1615 twos, 356 threes and 244 double follicular unit grafts) during his first procedure in late 2007. His plan was to do multiple procedures and, in fact, he is scheduled to have his second procedure within the next several months. In designing an approach, it is a good idea to try to have the first procedure be able to "stand alone" with a result that does not produce social discomfort since the second procedure does not always occur as soon as was planned beforehand. The approach for this patient's first procedure was to mimmick a 3 vertex pattern of balding with light coverage going into the posterior frontal forelock and crown.

Dr. Reed,

Great plan and beautiful work. He could stop here and know that he's already made an amazing transformation.

What is the plan for the second hair transplant?

Dr Reed, Is it the patient's desire to go for multiple smaller sessions or is there any other constraint for doing smaller sessions
