Yes, this is true but it can have disadvantages as well -- especially for somone who is looking for a HT to mimmick nature. The coarser the hair shafts the more of a giveaway it will be that a HT was performed.
That's why I still think it's best to be in the middle with stabalized hairloss and medium or medium fine hair diameter.
Also, another BIG thing is head size. A small head with medium hair shafts and a small area to cover could be the same thing as a big head with coarse hair shafts and a very large area to cover.
