Dr Steve Gabel - 4489 Grafts - One Session - Oregon
This patient requested to thicken the entire scalp where he was thinning. Initial examination showed a thinning frontal forelock with severe alopecia in the frontal scalp and moderate alopecia of the mid-scalp and crown. He also had moderate temple recession.
4489 grafts were placed in one session to achieve his desired goals. The photos were taken immediately after surgery. He came to us from out of town and will send updated photos as he grows in.

I’ve had several people ask me for the breakdown of the graft count for this case.
Here it is: 1’s: 1190 2’s: 2352 3’s: 916 4's: 31 Total: 4489 grafts (8766 hairs) in one session Patient sent in some photos recently that I’ll update the post with.

I'll check to see the latest postoperative photos I have on this patient and post them. Sorry I did not see your question for the last couple days: as some of you may know, I'm in training for my 3rd full Ironman triathlon, which I'm doing in Arizona this November. It takes a ton of time to train for the event so I'm unable to check the forums as often as I would like. When I get to the office this week, I'll see what we have. I appreciate you asking for follow up photos.
