Default Just started Rogaine, which shampoo to use?

I just started Rogaine a couple of days ago and was wondering what shampoo should I use? Revita? Loreal Vive? Nizoral? or Nioxin?

If you use rogaine, what has been most effective for you?

I personally use selsun blue as it is the only thing that works for dandruff. I have thought about head & shoulders but I have met too many hair dressers that tell me it is bad for hair - one thing that I have noticed is that the shampoo itself is very strong. I have used vive for men and it was awful.

I personally wash out the remnants of rogaine before I apply selsun blue, just as a precaution as the shampoo has some out-of-the ordinairy ingredients.

I've used quite a few different shampoos over the years with Minoxidil.

Most recently I tried Revita, but wasn't really sold on the anti-hair loss effects as it did nothing for me at all. It did leave my hair feeling nice though.

Before that I tried Nanogen Onescalp, it also does nothing for hair loss, but doesn't claim to. Was quite good as an anti-dandruff shampoo though so if that's a problem since starting Minoxidil you might want to give it a go.

Nizoral's a safe bet, but quite hard to come by. Again I've used it on and off when I've had dandruff and it's pretty good for that, but didn't notice much of an effect on hair loss.

To be honest the reason I keep trying different ones is because I haven't found one that's better than OK yet!
