This 53 y/o male has had two sessions of 1172 and 1320 grafts performed one year apart. The "after" photos shown are 18 months after his last session. The patient is satisfied with his present density and considers himself done. Grafts consisted of 1907 FU's and 585 DFU's, totalling 6554 hairs.

Nice transformation for that low # of grafts. The dark hair on top really gives him a different and improved look.

Betsy,

Thanks for getting involved in our forum community and showing Dr. Beehner's work.

This patient has a tremendous tranformation for a small number of grafts.

Can you or Dr. Beehner explain his use of DFUs, where they were placed and his reasons? I know him and a few other surgeons believe that using some double follicular units in between follicular units can aid with the illusion of hair density.

I'm sure our members would appreciate hearing his view on this.

Best wishes,

Bill

Really nice result, I can't believe only 2500 grafts were used! His top looks a bit darker than his sides, maybe he colors his hair and in turn makes it look thicker? Either way, nice result on a higher NW level patient.

A fabulous result in my opinion.

2400 grafts and 6500 hairs....

I had 2800 grafts and 5000 hairs.

It really proves that this is all about hairs being moved and not the number of grafts as that can be deceiving.......We should focus on the number of hairs moved and press doctors to talk more about this......
