Hi guys,

I have yet to see any photos of post op hair transplant patients who have longer hairstyles. I realize there are many variables to consider, extent of hairloss, number of transplants, etc, but I was wondering if the overall density after a transplant is enough to get away with having longer hair without appearing too thin. If anyone knows of a member that has photos with the described hairstyle, I would really appreciate seeing them. Thanks!

It would seem to me that the longer your hair is the thicker it would look. You may not see many pics of guys w/ longer hair because short hair is in style these days

hey guy

I wear my hair longer ,surfer style so when I went to Dr Feller for my ht in nov 2008 I discussed this with him , I stablized my hairloss with meds for 17 months before hand .

After placing 2100 grafts in 35cm sqed on my crown in a square shape it was Dr Feller's intension is for more then 60grafts per cm squared , this will match my excisting hair and , when fully grown out compliment my surfer type style .

below are two links , one for a long haired guy ,fully grown out , with pony tail and my own 6 month update

Sometimes half measures are the way to go. With VIDEO-Dr. Feller

DR FELLER UK PATIENT /RICHIE48/2100 CROWN GRAFTS /6 MONTH UPDATE PICS ,enjoying the fruits of Dr Feelgoods talent .

also check out my blog listed above

hope that helps bud

I have long hair and had the procedure done 1 month ago. I am in the ugly duckling phase and had some shock loss. I will post pics in a couple more months.
