Posted on behalf of Dr. Unger displaying his use of follicular unit hair transplantation.
Picture 1: A before and after photo of an individual hair transplant patient with fine, fluffy hair with generally typical hair characteristics but in this instance also having relatively light-colored hair. One session of 1504 FU at a density of approx. 30 FU/cm?‚?? was done in the frontal area and a similar session in the mid-scalp area nine months after the frontal area had been treated. Transplanting only as far back as the zone in which the head changes its orientation from more or less being parallel to the ground to more or less vertical to the ground produces the appearance of hair from both frontal and lateral views. Many patients choose to only treat this far back on the head, as the results are satisfactory to them and it can be accomplished in most individuals with only two sessions"???one to the frontal area and one to the mid-scalp area. Picture 2 A frontal photo of the patient, taken at the same time as the "after" photo shown in Picture 1

Looks great for 1504 grafts. No wonder, it is actually double that.

NN,
Good eye brother. I had a number of photos to post and I think I missed that this case was actually 2 sessions of similar sizes of about 1500 FU grafts each. I have corrected the title. Bill
