Spoon, I hear ya, its just too bad so many guys were not shown the true "after" results before going in for this treatment. It happened to me, I know.
I have yet to see a guy who went with multiple sessions come out looking good. Even if the gaps were filled in some, they cried out -this is a HT! Sorry but "semi natural" was not even close. I stopped right after the first session because I knew I had made the biggest mistake of my life once the bandages came off and I looked in the mirror. I can't believe many guys went for several sessions after seeing the first result. Maybe they believed the hype. They should have kept the plug technology in the experimental bin and not disfigured so many until this was perfected. Of course, there was way too much $$$$ to be made. JMO |

Spoon,
I fully understand what you are saying but I have to agree with Nobuzz. I rather doubt too many men liked the look they got with plugs. If they knew prior what they would look like and the stares and giggles they got from others, I am quite certain they would not have opted for the procedure. Even with multiple follow up procedures, I know that the result was never natural. Personally, I believe that many docs used this ploy as a means to make more money. They further played on the insecurities of these men to keep telling them that the next procedure will "soften the look." Unfortunately this still happens today. In saying all this, I will readily admit that there is a small percentage of the population of men that for whatever reason are either blind, see the world differently than most, or just don't give a shit. These guys we have all seen. They wear the worst looking hairpiece that might as well be the kitchen mop. They are just content to have whatever on top of their head. |

Spoon,
Well stated. I agree with what you have said. Now myself, I had old work not knowing about the plugginess and was lucky because of native hair that did hide it. Yes, in my particular case it added density for many years, however, I still regretted things from day 1 because I was smart enough to know that one day the native hair will no longer camo and I envisioned looking like a possible freak. Thank God for new technology. Unfortunately you are accurate about this similar thing going on at clinics where they dense pack the hell out of a 20 yr. olds hairline. Very sad. In many regards this situation might be worse than plugs because it has to be next to impossible and expensive to correct. Likely a hairpiece will be the only solution. |
