Patient had multiple sessions of large grafts done by another physician. The pre-op photos show these grafts.

Dr. Rosanelli did multiple sessions in order to remove the large grafts. These excision sites were sutured. The grafts were dissected into follicular units and recycled. The hairline was reconstructed using single hair follicular units, and frontal scalp and mid scalp were reconstructed using two and three hair follicular units. A total of 3,908 grafts.

Dr. Rosanelli,

Thanks for posting these. The result looks great.

Can you provide for us the surgical details. How many grafts and sessions did it take for this transformation?

Thanks,

Bill

BILL, I am writing from home and do not have this man's chart in front of me...I can tell you the hardest job is to convince these men to allow me to remove their grafts, which they have paid hard earned money for and consider them precious hair....However if they let me, it usually requires 2-3 sessions (this man probably required 2 excision sessions) of excisions while at the same time doing FU grafting behind the excision zone...then once removal is complete ~ 2 sessions along the hairline to create a very natural and excellent result.... On the pre-op photo you can see the LARGE 4mm punch grafts on the left front and hairline...on the AFTER'S these are gone replaced by a feathered, gradual "HAIR ZONE" of small FU grafts...TR
