Beautiful clean work Dr. Carmen. What size are you using for the incisions? Are they custom cut blades? I like the way you provide the surgery details with the strip size and graft/hair counts. It reminds me of another clinic I know. Keep up the great work and hopefully this patient will post his progress or send them to you to post.
Feel free to contact me about making incisions sites easier to see for the planting. You're probably aware of it already but this patient does not show any indication of the technique..... janna@shapiromedical.com. Thanks for sharing.

Janna-
Thank you very much. I use a number of different instruments to create the sites, (including custom cut blades tailored to each individual patient), depending on the area I am working. Sizes range from 0.7mm to 2.3mm (the latter size varying based on the size of available DFU's).

Dr. Carman,
Very nice and clean work. I especially like the close-ups of the hairline. Janna, I encourage you to create a topic on cleaner incisions making transplanting hair easier for technicians. I think this would be of high interest to physician and patient members alike. Best wishes, Bill

Nice work Dr Carman! I think the patient will have some good density when it grows out.
Any reason why he didn't want some temple points? I think that would have been the icing on the cake

Badger_01-
Thank you very much!! Actually if you look at the first shot you can see that this patient is actually holding on to his points at this time. They might be a bit faint, but still well demarcated. It is very difficult to match the fine quality of the hair which is present in the leading edge of these anatomical landmarks; therefore IMHO it is best to recreate them only when those fine hairs are missing to the point that a "point" is no longer discernible. Good "point" though!!
