Hi guys,
I just did a HT a week ago, & starting to use Propecia as a daily miracle drug to keep my un-HT hair. But should I use Minoxidil as well? I understand Minoxidil does help a bit, but not as much as Propecia. Any suggestion?

Iddie,
Propecia and Rogaine when used together have the best chance of helping maintain existing native hair with the possibility of regrowing hair. Please understand however that neither drug is a "miracle drug" and though they can certainly be effective hair loss treatments - that they won't regrow a full head of hair. I hope this helps. Bill

I haven't had a HT but I've been using Propecia/Minox for two years. Within a month I noticed less shedding, and within 3-6 months I discovered considerable new growth. Two years later I'm still maintaining! (and still using Propecia/Minox... I really think there's a synergy using the two together).

You are right on with your assessment and it's encouraging to hear that you've had success with the two. Do you have any before/after pictures you can post of using these hair loss medications? Bill
