Hello.

I'm 14 months from 3,500 grafts strip procedure with Dr. Feller and couldn't be happier. Even better, my girlfriend is happy, which pretty much means I'm going to be happy as well.

I have read this board and a few others over the years and must thank everyone for guiding me to the right doctor. I am from the U.K. and did my research very thoroughly and decided to go to Dr. Alan Feller in New York.

I started losing my hair several years ago in my mid twenties, but thankfully my curly hair helped to cover it up. After a while even the curls couldn't hide the baldness. I had receeded alot in the front and then the crown started opening up.

When I met Dr. Feller, I was hoping he could do my front in one day, but when he told me he could do the crown at the same time because of my curly hair I asked him to do both.

He placed 3,500 impants into my bald areas and I have to say it was not bad at all. A long day no doubt, but not bad. The needles weren't fun, but they weren't at all what I thought they would be. I don't see why some people make such a big deal over them.

The staff were very freindly and genuine. They even knew my name! Great gals. Dr. Feller is a really really good guy. Very down to the ground "Feller" and very attentive. I can tell he really listens to what I'm saying and takes his time.

He took photos the whole time to document my procedure as I told him he could post my pics after I grow out (as long as you cover my face doc! Please!)

Anyway, I was travelling through the U.S. and decided to visit with Dr. Feller to see my growth and take pics as promised. He also took a video as well.

I knew that I had grown well, but when he showed me and my g-friend pics of me just before the procedure I was shocked at how bald I actually was in the front and crown. For a few months I mistook Dr. Feller's hairs for my own! Thank G-D for digital cameras!

Many thanks to Dr. Feller and his team. My cousin is already booked in for a procedure with the doc. Unfortuantely he has to wait 4 months for his procedure, but it's clearly worth the wait.

I highly recommend Dr. Feller and his team.

Looking good. Did your hair have the same wavy curls on top before your procedure? I'm just wondering if it took on the characteristics of the back of your head when the top wasn't originally that wavy / curly.

Thank you all. I really appreciate the kudos. A reversal of baldness like the one Curlyhairguy now enjoys is very satisfying for me and my team. We are very very happy for him.My thanks to everyone who has helped to push the bar of HT to it's current level. CHG travels extensively and has promised to visit through N.Y. in a few months. We will, of course, take more photos and video.
