45 Year old male was a good candidate for DFU's. He has very fine hair but a good donor with the donor density of aroudn 100FU/sqcm. I am putting him on the site for you all to see another example of my work. I already had a detailed discussion on DFU's in a previous thread but will be glad to answer any further questions.

Dr. Paul,
This is an amazing result for such a few number of grafts! I am blown away by this.

Very nice work indeed...and that's a major understatement. Thanks for the DFU pictures to help follow up your previous discussion on that point (in another thread). Thx Dr. Paul it was helpful for me to see follow up pics of your DFU work....I found the previous thread to be very interesting and seeing the after pics hammers the point home for me.

Cheers to the lucky recipient.

Thanks Dr. Paul.

It is helpful that you detail the area in the core where you used the DFU's to really boost the density.

The results are obvious and I second Gorpy's opinion that the results are tremendous for the grafts totals.

Thanks for sharing!

I agree with everyone's comments. Very impressive results first and foremost, but it moves up an extra notch when one factors in the relatively low number of grafts.

Dr. Paul-

Thanks for posting this.............it's truly one of the best transformation's I've ever seen. Especially for 2646 FU's...........really amazing change in his appearance.

Also - thanks for pointing out the DFU's!

Dr. Paul,

I have to echo everyone else's comments....phenominal results for such a small number of grafts. Now it does appear that he has relatively thick hair, so I'm sure that helps paint the illusion of density. I'd be interested to see some after pictures in more harsh lighting to see what it looks like. Also, if there is any chance that you could post a bigger picture of the immediately post op pictures where the DFUs were transplanted.

A few questions:

1. Why did you choose the mid section of the scalp to use the DFUs?
2. One could argue that the use of DFUs are like minigrafts...by themselves they don't look good, but camoflauged by FUs, they look natural...sort of like one going for repair work. How would you dispute that?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Bill
