Presenting at 7 months post op,this patient reports being quite pleased with results to date. He is aware that he can expect at least 30% more growth over the next five months. His primary goals of recreating fullness in the frontal forelock area "so the sun doesn't shine through" as well as recreating the density of his bilateral temporal recessions, in his observation, have already been met.
Initially, this 24yo patient presented with bilateral temporal recession with loss of frontal and temporal hairlines. The patients goals are to recreate the temporal and frontal hairlines as well as increase density in the frontal forelock/posterior frontal forelock areas. His family hair loss history is limited to the same general hair loss pattern on his fathers side, with sparing of the crown. Mother's side with essentially no hair loss history. Total FU grafts of 2893: 739 1's; 1939 2's; 215 3's.

That looks nice and clean. This is a good shot for those on here questioning when they can return to work without being noticeable. The patient here could probably return in four or five days and nobody would have a clue he's had a transplant.
I'd like to see his six months, so encourage him to keep in touch.

Dr. Carman,
Surgical photos look nice and clean. Thanks for giving us a bit of detail and background on this patient in addition to the photos. I'm looking forward to seeing some more grown out photos in the near future. Best wishes, Bill

Dr. Carman,
I really like how you come back to update your surgical photos to show the result. Even though this patient is only at 7 months, his hair looks terrific now. Well done! Bill
