After researching hair docs and their results on this forum, this 30 y.o. patient selected Dr. Siporin to restore his hair. A Norwood 6 with average donor density and medium texture, his goal was to address the entire pattern. After examination, Dr. Siporin concluded that while this could be accomplished, less emphasis should be placed on vertex density in exchange for higher density in the front, including a temporal peak buildout. The patient agreed to shave the recipient area. A 30cm X 1 cm strip was harvested with trichophytic closure and 3146 follicular units were placed. The patient has decided to post his own blog with the ensuing results.

HAI,

As we know, 3100 grafts over a larger area won't create a lot of density but given that his goals were to cover the entire area, I think he will be happy with his result. He can always come back for a second pass if he wants to add more density.

Once this patient creates a hair loss weblog, I encourage you to post a link to it on this photo album so its easily findable by forum members viewing this thread.

Thanks for posting.

Best wishes,

Bill
