Thanks for the educational video. Between your videos and Hasson and Wong's we've seen just how much of a non cosmetic issue the donor scar can be. Your video certainly demonstrates how an acceptable donor scar can potentially be unnoticable even under inspection when the Tricho closure technique is used.

Video is certainly going to be a useful demonstration tool on the web.

I've seen the benefits of tricho closure myself when patients come back into our clinic for a follow-up, which most of the HT community do not have access to. It's great for all others to see the video. Thanks Ian and Pete!

Dr. Patrick Frechet of France did wonders for the advancement of this suturing technique when he started sharing the tricho technique at HT workshops around the world several years ago. There are others variations to this technique, and I hope I'm not offending anyone if I'm misplacing the honor and credit to Dr. Frechet.

Why did Ian choose not to have the trycho closure? I realize these are from a while back. Was this "technology", for lack of a better word, perfoected in the three months between their surgeries or is there some reason he would choose the other way.

Current regimen:
1.66 mg Proscar M-W-F
Rogaine 5% Foam - every now and then
AndroGel - once daily
Lipitor - 5 mg every other day
Weightlifting - 2x per week
Jogging - 3x per week

Exactly that Dewayne - Ian literally was one of the last patients Dr Feller performed on without Tricho. Pete on the other hand 4 months later was one of the first to have Tricho with Dr Feller.

This is quite impressive! It would be interesting to do a comparison w/ a shorter cut, say a #3. Is Ian condidering doing a tricho scar revision (not that he has a bad scar, but his bro's is much better)?
