Avoid strenous activities and rub Aloe Vera on it. I'm not a doctor, though.

Early and often is what I did. That Aloe really cools the area, and mine healed very well.

jw34,

You can start applying neosporin and/or Aloe to the donor area within a day or two after surgery.

Applying one of these may help aid healing and minimize infection, though they are not mandatory.

Best wishes,

Falc

Dont stretch your scar area.
Keep clean.
Apply Mederma (OTC now) 2-3x day for 8 weeks.
Take vitamin E and Aloe Vera, Vit C, and Zinc (all help cell repair)
You can also after stitches are out, apply Vit E 100% natural oil and AloeVera Oil to the Mederma to smooth in.
This Procedure on my scars worked wonders!
Best of luck
