***6 Month update!***
I recieved Robert's (RGott) 6 month post-op photos to post today. I had the opportunity to speak to Robert on the phone a couple of days ago and he was nothing short of ecstatic about the procedure. At just six months out, he can expect some further thickening along the hair line and in the crown, but it is easy to see Dr. Alexander's skill in these photos. His hairline has come in beautifully and the crown has begun sprouting nicely. I now see that it is no wonder Robert sounded so pleased on the phone! Many thanks again to Dr. Scott Alexander and staff for giving the generous and selfless "gift of hair" to Robert. Be sure to check back on more updates! *original message* As was announced in this thread: Dr. Scott Alexander gives the gift of hair to Essay Contest winner the winner of the December '04 installment of the "Win a Free Hair Transplant Essay Contest" had his procedure performed on May 4th. Dr. Scott Alexander generously volunteered his expertise, time, and resources to provide a complimentary procedure to Robert, who goes by the name Rgott on the forums. I want to take the opportunity once again thank Dr. Alexander and the world-class staff at Biltmore Surgical Hair Restoration Center for their generous gift to Robert. I would also like to once again congratulate Robert on his new gift of hair. -Robert

Bump to the top to show new 6 month photos. There are more in the gallery up top, but I wanted to use this space to highlight the "before" and "6 months post-op" photos of Robert's crown:
At just 6 months, the crown is filling in nicely. The crown usually takes a little more time, so Robert can expect further thickening but Robert is already filling in very nicely. -Robert
