Can somone please explain the difference between the two, propecia and proscar. Are they the same drug or what. I am alittle confused. I have been on propecia for about 4 years, and was intersted in something stronger. Does anyone get proscar of propecia online with out a pescribtion.

Im far, far from an expert but from what I understand: Yes they are the same drug... propecia is 1mg of finasteride (the active ingrediant) and proscar is 5mg so people just split the pill into 1/4's.
I got my proscar w/out a script from planethealthstore.com and it comes from Argentina (but manufactured in England). Its been said on this board that its not wise to get your meds from overseas but I still dont understand why, but it concerns me enough to where I want to get a legit prescription from a Dr and just get it filled here in the USA.

Propecia and Proscar are the same drug, Finasteride, just different sized pills. Most opt to quarter Proscar to save money. It can be quite a savings.

As for purchasing online..............the reason I would be hesitant to order overseas is due to a known issue of consistency of meds. Maybe you're getting what you're paying for, maybe not. Who knows!! When you purchase from a Walmart pharmacy, Costco, Walgreens.....etc., you're guaranteed meds are FDA approved and manufactured by a FDA approved company like MERCK.

Many order overseas to avoid the script.............initially I was going to do the same. After researching and feeling somewhat uneasy about the issue I listed above, I decided paying for an annual visit for the GP would be well worth it. In my case, I just called the Doc from my first HT who gave me the script for free.

MSM is an abbreviation of Methylsulphonylmethane (I have to look it up every time I try to spell it ). Among other things, it can help speed up hair growth. It does NOT help new HT hair sprout any quicker. It will help "all" hair grow a little faster once it's growing. There are plenty of threads on this if you want more info.
