Dr. Vogel,

Kudos to your and your clinic for providing this patient will nice coverage with only 2500 grafts.

As you can see, showing your results online helps prospective patients see the quality work you regularly perform.

I look forward to seeing more results from your clinic and your continued involvement on our discussion forum.

It was also nice meeting with you face to face in Montreal. I hope you enjoyed the conference and our 10 year anniversary party. Here's to another 10 years of successful growth and patient education.

Best wishes,

Bill

I don't want to sound negative here, the patient does have "some" improvement BUT....

The first picture shows wet hair combed to the middle and second picture looks like a dry comb over. Again, I'm sorry if I sound negative but I would not consider this HT as a great result.

HairDew,

I respect your opinion, but I thought I'd offer some feedback so you have a better understanding of hair transplant surgery and realistic expectations.

Not every hair transplant is going to be a "wow" result.

2500 grafts only goes so far and there are always reasons why a physician and patient will choose to do a certain session size. Perhaps it was patient choice, or due to donor density or scalp elasticity limitations preventing Dr. Vogel from harvesting a larger strip.

Even today however, we still consider 2500+ grafts a megasession. A lot of the very large sessions exceeding 4000-4500 grafts are exceptional cases and not the norm.

In my opinion, this is a great result for a small amount of grafts used on a large balding area. Dr. Vogel will be presenting a number of results in the future, so I'm sure you'll get a better feel for his work after seeing more. To see the highlight of our Publisher's (Pat Hennessey) visit and observation of Dr. Vogel in live surgery, click here.

Best wishes,

Bill

Bill, I understand what you're saying and I do agree that the patient has "some" improvement. But I looked at other pictures with similar FU counts and somewhat similar hairloss pattern and those results are by far better.

I don't want to sound like I'm bashing the doctor, I am NOT. But purely basing my view from other photos presented by other doctors.
