Chance of success is equivalent although patient selection is key as some women may not have adequate donor. As I mentioned previously, there are profound differences in design.

Thank you, Alan. I agree with you that in some cases, (especially in women with female pattern hair loss on the front/top of the scalp) results are not as impressive as we would like with regards to density and that is partially related to the quality of the donor area. I have found that a high percentage of women who undergo restoration of the hairline (especially the temporal areas) are extremely happy with the results. As we all know, the technical challenge is creating a feminine design, getting the appropriate growth angles and finding hairs from the donor area that are fine enough in caliber to match the natural hairs at the front edge of the hairline.

I appreciate all the comments and will continue to post cases.
