Everyone says rogaine is a pain to apply? why is that?

Is it just a shampoo? u apply while having a shower?

what is the process for applying rogaine and what are the difficulties you experience?

hi there
rogaine foam is easy to apply and dries quickly where as the liquid takes longer to dry and leaves your hair with a greasy appearance and feeling.both can cause irritation to the scalp but i found that the foam was ok and the liquid irritated my scalp and it caused really bad dandruff for me.
both need to be applied to dry hair
hope this helps

It does help thank you.

May i ask, did you experience any side effects?

Is my understanding correct that you apply the rogaine, and let it dry? and leave it on your head all day?

How long does it take to apply/dry etc?

yeah you leave it on all day, some people wash their hair after a days use and re apply before going to bed.i started applying on the morning and 1 hour before i went to bed but it irritated my scalp so i then only applied it once a day before i went to bed but the scalp irritation continued so i stopped using it.
i had no irritation with the foam but no results either.i think i had a little regrowth with the liquid

Some people say Minox foam is better to apply. I briefly tried Minox but it left the hair kind of oily and you have to let it dry, can't blow dry it..........I didn't care for it at all but to each his own.

The foam to me sounds kind of "gimmicky", I wonder, if regular Rogaine might (or might not) help regrow hair, has anyone seen any results from using the foam?

If you shower every morning, apply Rogaine an hour before bed. Or two. And then wash out in the morning after its soaked in all night. Rinse and Repeat.

I used to use concealer so it way always a pain to apply , then wait , then apply the dermatch to a greasy head. Now there is Rogaine foam but for me it was never worth it
