Here is "Jumpinghair" a UK Dr Feller patient who received 1360FUE with Dr Feller:
Jumpinghair - - First of all let me start by saying Dr Feller and his crew are very friendly and I felt very welcome. Dr Feller drew in my new hairline, I wasn't too happy with the one side which he then adjusted I was pleased with it and anxious to get going. I then moved onto my stomach in preparation for the FUE punch. A had a few injections of anaesthetic into my donor area, which hurt more on the left then right for some reason. I was then ready for my hair to be ??punched'. I asked Dr Feller what size the punch was and he uses .8 and .9 mm feller punch) He said I was an ideal FUE Candidate, music to my ears! After about 10 mins though disaster struck I started to bleed, not bleed but pour blood, I mean Niagara Falls bleed. Dr Feller started questioning me if had done any drinking previous to Op, which I had done. Oh shit I thought, I've cocked this up! ... I had a couple beers 2 days back and it was evident, Dr Feller was not happy. My heart at this point was beating so hard I thought it was going to explode. I started to pray to the big man. After apologizing for being such an idiot and praying to the man above, Dr Feller managed to get the bleeding under control. Thank the heavens! Whatever you do avoid alcohol like the plague before your op! Dr feller explained how it slowed him down a great deal I think he said he was on 380 where if I wasn't bleeding so much he could have been close to 800 he might of exaggerated? . An hour and half maybe 2 had passed and the techs came in and extracted the graphts and they also commented on how easily they could get the hairs out they were impressed, in their worlds "the hairs were literally jumping out" hence my handle. So this was some good news which made me happy. So after couple rounds of the above I then stopped for a break I think it was about 14:30. I had a sandwich and a cheeky smoke jokingly De Feller offered me a beer to with my sandwich . I then got back in the chair for a few more graphts to be taken this maybe lasted another hour. I was then moved to another room where Dr Feller injected me and made the incisions after that the techs moved in to place the graphs; two techs placing and 1 doing cleaning with saline solution. It was getting quite late now I was falling into and out of sleep regularly. But woke to hear one of techs saying she was tired. This frightened me a little; I said that she could sleep when she's done! Anyways I think I was all done and on my way out of the office at about 19:00. I'd like to thank everyone, Dr Feller a great guy who was patient with me and did some excellent work. His friendly hardworking crew and Spex who has been a tremendous help through all of this, answering all my questions and having much patience with me. I have attached a group of photos please give me your thoughts. Thanks JH 2 weeks post op donor 6 months post op

His hairline looks really natural. What a great "bang for the buck" ! Quite a transformation with only 1500 grafts.

In picture one when clutcher was applied we could see some vellous hairs on the side as he is type II MPB. were those hair shaved off before transplant as shown in other pictures.
The hair line is though very natural.

Yes Dr. Mohmand, while I do shave vellous hair just prior to surgery I always show non-shaved "before" photos. Never shaved "before" photos.
I shave the vellous hair because when you pack grafts in as tight as we do, even a vellous hair can get under a graft and cause it to get pulled out. Aside from that, it avoids infection as hair is very dirty even after medical disinfectants are applied. I look forward to postings of results by your FUE patients as well. Dr. Feller

I had the lpleasure of meeting up with "Jumpinghair" a couple of weeks ago for some update pics
We took pics outside in daylight to help show work and transformation - Hair combed up to expose work not layered forward or styled - just raw. Hopefully JH can chip in to share his personal opinion.

The last set of pics (on top of the old ones) paint a pretty clear picture for me. It's never easy to get a 100% bead on refinement cases like this, but I think the documentation is pretty great, especially since no product was used, which could often create a "wall" situation in a case like this, and you have little idea what kind of growth was occuring throughout.
Looks like he had really good growth, and the HT grew in beautifully and naturally. 3 or 4 of the pics demonstrated to me clear growth in the recipient zone itself; and a few others also showed the overall style he's now able to achieve with the aforesaid growth.
