Yes, great work! I remember, the morning of my own procedure, you showing me Ian's pictures (at that point he was at 8 months) and saying "this is basically what I want for you." I'm sure he is happy (as am I, even at 4 months-and-change)! On a marginally related note, good wishes to you and everyone at the showcase tonight, and I hope to be able to make the next one. Some unexpected (and very good) family events have diverted me to DC, otherwise I'd be there drinking your beer! Benjamin

Perfect example of a doctor presenting an example of his patient, at 8 months no doubt, that in all likelihood is NOT a accurate representative sample of most of his patients in an effort to recruit more tansplant candidates.

In most cases we have asked the docs to post their patients photos, however most pics are unsolicited by patients.

Not to dignify the uninformed defeatism/trolling/whatever of "Starz" with a response, but, to anyone reading this who's quite new to all of this, for what it's worth:
* Dr. Feller posts pictures for the same reason that he takes ample time to discuss options with patients and with prospective patients, for the same reason that he reads and posts on this forum and on others, because he is, I believe, the kind of doctor and the kind of person who genuinely wants people to go into a decision like this with a clear head (pun intended) and well-informed. Yes, there are doctors out there who post idealized or outright false photos to lure in customers, but to me, the value of sites like this and of the efforts of people like Pat, and Spex, and Bill, and so many others, who keep informed and look behind slick marketing, is that such doctors can't compete with the ones who have demonstrated that they are the real deal, because their work and integrity speaks for themselves. * Ian's growth (and for that matter) reminds me a bit of mine; I am happy with my own results at the 8-month mark and will post more photos to my own blog to document them...feel free to see more of Dr. Feller's work there, as well! * Uh...that was all.
