Ok ok, now I'm really scared. I decided to do a little bit of research on this body hair transplant stuff and found the scariest thing I've ever seen! Has anyone seen this site?

http://hairtransplantcons.blogspot.c...ansplants.html

And to make matters worse!

There is some crazy stuff on here that is scaring me altogether Who is this Dr. Mwamba? Did he do this to this poor patient?

Maybe I should just shave my head? Who can I trust?

I've asked another doctor if he transplanted grafts in any time frame after removal and whether he observed that grafts would not shed if placed in thew scalp sooner rather than later.

He has not observed this phenomenon. His reply:

No, in our experience we have found a wide range of difference.

There are patients in whom most of the hair never shed. Others in whom the hairline did not shed and the crown took longer to grow in. Still others, rare, but seen, where the hairline grew in later and the top crown area first. Anyway, we do not place grafts immediately after extraction, and I do not know of any other good clinic that does so.

The grafts need to be trimmed of excess tissue, examined under magnification and sorted by type. They are then stored in chilled lactated ringer's solution before being transplanted.

Dear forum members,

I have sent an email to Dr. True earlier inviting him to publicly reply to this thread and discuss some of his recent findings and refinements made since his above presentation. It will be interesting to see what kind of success he has had putting this information into surgical practice.

I know he is very busy in surgery all day, but I hope that he'll be able to take some time to further educate us.

I look forward to his response.

Best wishes,

Bill
