Hi folks,

In a couple of days I'm having my hairtransplant performed by Ron Shapiro. This site has been very helpful for me making the important decision about choosing the right doctor for the procedure. For that reason I think I owe to keep you all updated about my results and progress.

I want density increased in the front and my hairline reinforced/rejuvenated. I've been told I need around 3000 grafts.

Hair dreamer,
You are in great hands as you obviously done your homework on which doc to go to. I would suggest taking a few more pre op pics with better lighting to show whats really going on in there. Just some FYI, with the better lighting in mind, keep that same lighting and location and other "x" factors (just after a shower, no concealers, dry or wet, etc...) This will truly show your progress and your staisfaction in months to come. Good luck even though you won't need it.. Its gonna look great

HairDreamer,

It's always a pleasure hearing about how this site has helped you in your research and see how it has led you to a first-rate surgeon to perform your surgery. 3000 grafts sounds about right and will make for a nice overall improvement.

I encourage you to create a hair loss weblog which is the easiest way to chart your progress and document it with photos.

Best wishes for restoring your hair in 2008!

Bill
