Does anybody know if Minoxidil 10% is out in the market. My Physician back home in India thinks that it is in the American market. Does anybody have any information.

try minoxidil.com.

It is not made by Upjohn, it is through a compounding pharmacy.

Lara,

Yes, minoxodil can be purchased I believe up to 12.5% however, I do not believe there is great supporting evidence that reveals that 12.5% is anymore effective than 5%. If anyone has evidence to contradict this, I'd be interested to hear about it.

Keep in mind, the higher the percent, the greater the risk of side effects.

Thanks for your response guys. I have been using Rogaine 5% with some benefit. My general physician had recommended to me. He says the stronger the concentration, there are better chances of regrowth...I have seen Xandrax and some others but not too sure about those. Xandrax also seems to have a DHT blocker....but i would like to hear it from someone who uses it. i wonder if Rogaine has come out with 10%...i trust rogaine since i have been using it for more than 5 years.

Lara,

I have never used Xandrox but the DHT inhibitor in Xandrox is the Azelaic Acid.

Read more about Xandrox

Best wishes,

Bill
