Had my staples taken out yesterday at Dr. Feller's office. I must say, there is a HUGE difference in how you feel once they are out!
Has anyone used Mederma or any other such product on the scar? I'm currently applying Aloe Vera and was wondering when I could start with the scar treatment. Any suggestions? Also, I've updated my blog with Day 10 pictures to track my progress.

Congrats to you!
Yes.......I remember the feeling when the staples came out........mine didn't really hurt while they were in but they were annoying for some reason. I don't think you can go wrong by using Mederma and/or Aloe Vera. I used Mederma for the first few months but got out of the habit of applying. I suppose you never know how much it helps but it certainly won't hurt any. Best of luck,

Thanks for the advice! I am going to start Mederma today and hopefully it will work its magic. The only hassle of this is that it needs to be applied 3-4 times per day.
