This pt had been wearing a hair system for many years. He was transplanted with 2014 grafts in the front area approx. 1 yr ago. He has just scheduled his 2nd surgery which we will be doing in the near future.

Looks pretty amazing from the pics.

Considering the recent posts on hair characteristics it's interesting that his hair appears fine and fairly straight (definately not thick, coarse and wavy like everyone seems to agree provides the best results) but his results are very nice.

For anyone who has seen HTs in person any thoughts on how well these pics represent the results as seen in person? Do you think they are fairly accurate, more favorable or less favorable than reality? I hate to say it but it almost looks too good to be true for only 2000 grafts spread over almost the front 1/2 of his scalp which is a fair amount of real estate.

He did go with a pretty conservative hairline (perfect, I think) which is really smart. He can always thicken it if desired but as far as placement it's right where it needs to be. I guess the grafts go a lot farther when you go with that approach.

I think these pictures are a great argument for the importance of first establishing the front hairline to frame the face. Most of us patients would ask the surgeon to spread those 2000 grafts over the entire head.

Nice result, and seems like he's on his way with a smart plan. Is his 2nd going to tackle the rear portion? Looks like he's fine up front for now.
