Condoguy,
We transplanted the hairline at 60 grafts/sq cm due to the amount of grafts this pt received.

Hairloser1,
You do get good results with wavy coarse hair. For me, I like to transplant straight slightly coarser than this pt's hair. The results for me turn out really well as you will see in my example.

Thanks for the kind words! Always appreciated.

Well put Dewayne!! I completely agree with you and I think the more I see patients complaining about their results or becoming discouraged is a result of spreading too few grafts over too large an area. Even if the patient wants to do two procedures, a density of 30cm2 really doesn't do anything.

My reaction is exactly the same as Hairloser1. I would have guessed 3000 grafts to achieve that kind of result, especially with his strait hair. This is an awesome transformation, very natural too. I am very interested in seeing the results of his 2nd surgery.

Dwayne and M&M,

I agree whole heartedly with your assessment on density. One of the largest problems are patients wanting to have the grafts spread out futher to cover more area especially after talking with other doctors. I always try to get them to let me transplant with high density. It becomes difficult to convince them that higher density is better than coverage over a larger area with poor density. I would much rather transplant an area, have it look good, be done with it, and move on. This way I don't have to continue filling in the area over and over again.

Dr. Feller,
Thank you for your comment, its greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for your kind words!
