Things are coming along very nicely. There is one hell of a difference so far and things will only get better.

Fantastic! Just another reason I want to go to H&W...and at only five months? Should get even better.
Noglare, how is the scar? How short can you cut it without it becoming visible?

Scar not noticeable - itches a little sometimes, but not a problem. See new pictures!

1. is the hair still kinky/ frizzy? I cant tell from the pics.
2. how short can you go without seeing the scar?

notgoing2gobald:

1. In some ways yes. My hair has always been straight, but the transplanted hair from the back is stout and has body (no curl though). It was(is) thick stuff back there in my case. Dr. Wong angled the hairs forward and I comb to the side. My old top hair wouldn't stay combed to the side - it would fall back forward - the transplanted hair stays combed to the side. I would even call it wirey. Maybe somebody has an explanation for this.
2. I had a #3 buzz cut for the first 3 months as things evened out - you couldn't see the scar...

thank you for answering my questions. that is terrific regarding the scar and thickness of your hair. are you planning an additional session or are you happy with your present hair? since you are a post plant, what do you think about this:

HT LIMITING HAIR STYLES?

I would REALLY like to know about styling options with a transplant. Much appreciated.

Noglare,

The "wirey" issue should subside as you are only barely into seven months post-op now. It will simply take time and some people see it improve by ten months, some by one year, some by 1.5 years but it will continue to improve daily and weekly in small increments.

You look fantastic by the way and thank you for sharing.
