Although the days of the old corn row shuffle are gone, some patients continue to display the reminders of such old hair transplantation on their head.

Fortunately many of these patient have had this old work updated and or repaired by hair transplant repair experts like Dr. James Vogel in Maryland and others.

Dr. Vogel contributed much of the information and photos used in creating the "Hair Transplant Repair" section of the Hair Transplant Network.

Dr. Vogel recently sent me a recent example of his hair transplant repair work, which is shown below. I hope that those who still live with the legacy of plugs are encouraged after seeing what can now be done to fix their old work.

The below patient with previous plugs from another physician had many of his grafts removed and recycled. 2,500 FU grafts were added in 2 sessions. Patient had 2,500 grafts added consisting of 900 one hair grafts 1000 twos and 600 threes for a total of 4700 hairs transplanted.

All the best, Pat
