Hi All

I'd like to share with you my experience of a HT at a cosmetic hospital located at Shenzhen, South China. Shenzhen is located on the Chinese mainland, opposite Hong Kong.

Race: Caucasian (UK)
Age: 54
Hair type: Titian (Red and approx 86,000 hairs on an average scalp area of 120 inch2 or 770 cm2)
Scalp stretch: tight
Norwood scale: 3A
Strip: 23.5cms x 2.25cms or 9.4" x 0.9" (the strip width may have been 1.5cms because I lost my notes!)
Number of FUT's = 1440
Cost: US$1/FUT
Post op experience: Tolerable pain for 2-3 days, uncomfortable to sleep - 2 weeks
Medication: none
Spraying: after 7 days
Hairline: single FUT
Op duration: 4.5 hours

Regards

Dyson

A 23.5 long by 1.5cm wide with a LOW to AVERAGE donor density of 80 fu's should yield 2800 grafts, if not more.

Two things happened here:
1 You got mini/micro grafts
2 Your clinic destroyed as much hair as they transplanted.
Sorry to bring this to your attention, but the numbers do NOT work out at all. I did not say anything until you confirmed your strip sizes.
I would find out exactly what was done to you.
Sorry Mate!

Looks like it's been quite awhile, but was wondering if Dyson has any current comments about his experience in Shenzhen. I live in China and am looking for a place for a HT.

Hi,

Your better off flying to India and getting a HT with Doctor Madhu's clinic because at least he's recommended on this forum. His price is pretty close to the price quoted on the initial post.

Why go and have a HT with a clinic that isn't recommended?

Regards

Rod
