Dear forum members,

I have been in touch with Dr. Marla Rosenberg from Toronto who is interested in potential recommendation.

Dr. Rosenberg has over 7 years of experience performing hair transplantation as the primary part of her practice and operates on only 1 patient per day. She and her experienced staff of 10 averaging 10 years of experience have the ability to perfom over 2500 grafts when appropriate for the patient.

This female patient below has received 2234 grafts in one hair transplant session lowering her hairline.

Feel free to offer your input on this photo album.

Best wishes,

Bill

I have to say again that these results are disappointing. For 2234 grafts the density is way low and there are big spaces between the hairs. This woman is going to need another surgery just to look natural becaues what she has on her head now stands out.

Bruceman,

You appear to be the world's harshest critic after what I saw you post on a this thread regarding a female hairline hair transplant with Dr. Epstein.

I am starting to wonder if your expectations of what a hair transplant can accomplish is simply unrealistic?

What you have to understand is that typically hairlines are thinner to achieve a soft and feathered appearance. Too much density at the hairline can make it appear "pluggy".

That said, I do appreciate your feedback.

I agree with bruceman. If I were to have this result I would not be happy and seek to have it repaired asap, soley based on the artistry. The density and quality of the HT look good but the gaps are just too big. I would not be happy with this.

I honestly think that one of the problems with these pictures is that she needs to recolor her hair. As the roots are growing in naturally darker, they don't blend well with her dyed blondish hair.

In my opinion, the hair transplant itself is quite natural, but the difference in color between the roots and the rest of her hair make it harder to see this.
